Jack's 1st Halloween

Jack's 1st halloween - we dressed him up as a monkey. He was a good sport despite being put in and out of his costume as we took him to a few relatives houses to trick or treat. We took him to Grandma and Grandpa Krus' flower shop to trick or treat early on Sunday. On Halloween, we visited cousins Rhett, Mack and Livia. Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Schaefer's house to have dinner and help with trick or treaters. Our last stop of the evening was at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Sullivans house- and we got to visit with cousins Brooklyn and Bobbie.

(grandma's black eye wasn't a costume.. she fell and broke her arm and hit her eye last week..

and has a cast for a few weeks- we can't wait for her to be healed and back to normal)

while we were out at the flower shop. courtney was changing his diaper, and as he was

going to grab a wipe, jack rolled over. 

we didn't get a picture of it.. but when we put jack back on the mat- there

was a wet spot on the carpet:) he liked being naked and just felt like he

could pee anywhere i guess:) 

Celebrating Grandma KK's awards

In the past 2 weeks, my mom- aka Grandma KK- has received 2 awards- recognizing her service to the community, her generousity towards others and always being willing to lend a hand, and her work with the students at Althoff Catholic High School. We know she is well deserving of these awards and we couldn't be more proud! We were able to celebrate with her at 2 dinners honoring her - a few pictures are below.

Jack's 1st trip to Indiana

On the weekend of October 8th and 9th, we went to visit Shawn and Kelly in Jasper.  They hosted Courtney, Jack, Kelly, my mom, dad and I. We had a great weekend with them. On Saturday we went to Bloomington, IN for the Illinois vs Indiana football game. Kelly and Shawn got us great tickets to the game- 50 yard line and Illinois won- a great first Illini game for Jack. It was in the 80s and hot during the game which was a little unusual for October.  That Saturday night the Krempp's (Kelly's parents) hosted us all for dinner and a night around their outdoor firepit which was great. We look forward to our next trip back.

Jack - week 11- 14 (3 months)

Jack is changing so quickly. From learning to smile, to recognizing us, to talking "baby talk" (which is the most adorable language by the way)- we are loving every minute but wish we could put it in slow motion. Here are a few pics from month 3.

Hayden's baptism

Jack's cousin Hayden- our 1st nephew- had his baptism on Sunday October 16th. We went back to Danielle and Scott's for a party afterwards and visited with family. We got a few pics of Jack with Hayden and their cousin Ava. We also captured a pic of Grandpa Krus with his 2 grandsons!
