Celebrating the sale of Grandma and Grandpa Krus' business

After 39 years, Grandma and Grandpa Krus decided it was the right time to sell their business. In a very short time, they found the right buyers and are transitioning to the new owners. Grandma Cel worked hard every day to make beautiful works of art through flowers and ran a successful Hallmark and gift shop in the front of the flower shop. Grandpa Dan helped out with the business side of the shop. Its been a lot of work and brought a lot of great memories to everyone who has been a part of it but they decided it was time to have more free time with their kids and grandkids (lucky us). Grandma Cel spends Tuesdays with Jack each week and he loves his days with her.

We had them over for dinner, as well as Uncle Scott and Aunt Danielle and cousin Hayden to celebrate the sale!

4 months old!

4 months old.. wow. so much has changed since Jack arrived 4 months ago. He's becoming so much more aware. He's reaching and grabbing toys with both hands, he recognizes faces, smiles and laughs at so many things. Jack is a very happy baby. He had been sleeping through the night but caught a respiratory virus that lasted 2 1/2 weeks and during the middle of that developed an ear infection. His cough kept him up most of the night.. and now has thrown him completely off his good sleep schedule. Jack now thinks its fun to wake up every 3-4 hours in the middle of the night... we took a step backwards on the sleep issue.. and I don't know how to get him back to being such a good sleeper. I'm not a fan of the cry it out method and so Courtney and I are trying to figure out a different plan.  Its not hard waking up when you have such a cute little boy waiting for you in his bed:)
love the little cow outfit

Jack loves to be naked.. and he found his hands and feet - so one or the other is always in his mouth

such a happy little guy

grandpa bill and jack (not the  best pic of jack) but had to get a pic

Jack's 3 month pics

Our friend and talented photographer Stephanie continues to take beautiful pictures of Jack for us. She took a few 3 month pics of him back in October that I had to share. He changes so quickly and has already changed so much since these pictures.. I'm behind on posts but am trying to catch up!!
